Terms & Conditions
The following Terms & Conditions govern the relationship between Pauline Micmacher, founder of PM Journeys (“Travel Advisor”, “we”, “our”) and the client (“Client”, “you”) in relation to travel advisory and booking services. PM Journeys operates as an independent travel advisory affiliated with Fora Travel. Please read the following terms carefully before confirming any booking or travel service.
Use of Travel Advisor’s Services
You represent and warrant that: You are at least 18 years of age and are authorised to enter into this Agreement and make travel bookings with PM Journeys. The information you provide, whether for yourself or on behalf of others, is true and accurate, and you will continue to provide updated information throughout your engagement with PM Journeys. You will abide by the terms and conditions of this Agreement and any applicable terms and conditions of our travel suppliers or partners.
Independent Travel Advisor
PM Journeys is an independent travel advisor affiliated with Fora Travel, Inc. (“Fora”) and operates its own separate travel business.Client understands and agrees that: PM Journeys is not an agent, representative or employee of Fora. Fora is a technology provider and host agency, not a travel service provider. Client will have no claim against, nor file any claim against, Fora for losses or damages resulting from services provided by PM Journeys. Fora is not a party to this Agreement for any purpose. Client expressly waives any claims, demands or causes of action against Fora arising from or relating to travel arrangements, advisor services, cancellations, disputes or any matters related to this Agreement.
Services & Advisory Fees
PM Journeys provides bespoke travel advisory and itinerary design services, including but not limited to accommodation research and booking, transportation, experiences, restaurant reservations and travel coordination. Advisory or design fees may apply and will be agreed in writing before work begins. All advisory and design fees are non-refundable.
Suppliers & Client Responsibility
PM Journeys acts as an intermediary between the Client and third-party travel suppliers, including hotels, airlines, transportation providers, guides and experience partners. All suppliers operate independently and are subject to their own booking conditions, cancellation policies and operational decisions. PM Journeys cannot guarantee supplier availability, rates, upgrades, quality of service or special requests. PM Journeys is not responsible for changes, delays, cancellations, operational issues or circumstances caused by suppliers or events beyond our control.
Travel Bookings
Rates & Availability
All quoted prices are subject to change until bookings are confirmed and payments are received. Suppliers may use dynamic pricing based on demand and availability.
Currency Fluctuations
Clients understand that exchange rate fluctuations may affect the final amount due for reservations.
Personal Information
Client authorises PM Journeys to use personal information necessary for travel bookings, reservations and requested services.
Payment
Payments for travel services must be made promptly and within supplier deadlines.Payments may be processed directly by suppliers or through authorised booking partners.
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
You agree not to initiate chargebacks or payment disputes in order to avoid cancellation policies, supplier terms or booking conditions, unless services purchased were never provided or were materially misrepresented. Clients agree to notify PM Journeys immediately should any issue arise so reasonable efforts may be made to assist in resolving the matter.
Changes & Cancellations
All modification or cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Clients understand that supplier cancellation policies, penalties and non-refundable charges apply according to the terms of each supplier. PM Journeys is not responsible for penalties resulting from late modification or cancellation requests. Any costs incurred by PM Journeys due to changes or cancellations may be passed on to the Client.
Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for all trips and may protect against cancellations, delays, medical emergencies, lost luggage and other unforeseen circumstances. Travel insurance is not included unless expressly stated. Without appropriate travel insurance, cancellation penalties and supplier policies will apply and may result in loss of funds associated with your booking.
Passports, Visas & Travel Requirements
Clients are responsible for ensuring they hold valid passports, visas and any required travel documentation. Passport validity requirements vary by destination and may require validity beyond the travel dates. Clients are responsible for verifying all travel documentation upon receipt. PM Journeys cannot be held responsible for denied boarding, refused entry or additional costs resulting from incomplete or incorrect travel documentation.
Travel Advisories & Entry Requirements
Travel to certain destinations may involve additional risks, including health, political or security-related concerns. Clients are responsible for reviewing travel advisories issued by the United Kingdom government and local authorities. Changes in travel advisories do not override supplier cancellation policies or entitle clients to refunds unless covered by travel insurance. Participation in travel constitutes acceptance of associated risks.
Liability & Force Majeure
PM Journeys acts solely as an intermediary for disclosed travel suppliers and has no control over their operations. PM Journeys is not liable for injury, loss, damage, delay, accident, cancellation or expense arising from acts, omissions or failures of third-party suppliers or circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, civil unrest, government restrictions or transportation disruptions. Any liability of PM Journeys, where applicable, shall be limited to advisory fees paid directly to PM Journeys. The purchase of travel insurance is strongly recommended.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of London, England.
Acceptance
By confirming a booking or engaging PM Journeys’ services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
